The Big Question.

Recommended Posts

I would have liked to have seen Sanders get in on the Democrat side. Not because I agree with all of his politics, but because he was the only viable contender with any integrity. After him I like Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate again based more on character than politics. In distant third place would be Hillary, and in a much more distant last place would be Trump. Hillary is much more of a warhawk and corrupt liar than liberals realize. Not to mention against equality until it became politically convenient for her. But Trump is dangerous in a way that is unprecedented in this country.

A recent survey showed that over 90% of those controlling that news media are registered democrats.

I agree that unbiased reporting is wanting, but where are you getting that info? If you mean reporters, less than 30% are Democrats: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/nov/8/republicans-media-bias-claims-boosted-by-scarcity-/

If you mean ownership of media http://www.stateofthemedia.org/media-ownership/company-profile/?mediaid=77&id=104

No, I am talking about a percentage based on how they voted.

http://archive.mrc.org/biasbasics/biasbasics3.asp and http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=207

I believe one of the links I have is the same as yours, but dig into it. Reporter political leaning to the left, started in the 70's in universities as the U.S. imported many professors from Europe.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/oct/27/99-top-liberal-arts-professor-campaign-donations-g/

There are a lot more links that explain how they come up with the 5 - 10 to 1 ratios in leanings. I remember when you couldn't tell which way a reported leaned, they just wanted the truth, rare anymore.

I think Trump has so much support because people are tired of the politics as usual and being politically correct. He sure is a wild card on what he would do, I agree on that.

btw, I should have put voted democrat instead of registered democrat.

Dont u find it strange that Donald Trump is like yelling to everyone not to vote him by being so incredibly-ultra-super racist and make people hate him? I cant help but to think that he is doing it on purpose. For what? Who knows

Hugo Chávez did the same thing, and look how well he fucked up our country (Venezuela). I know this is related to US presidential election, but seriously, you guys have to vote against Trump. Why? The ideology of all republicans are most likely to be "Socialist", and Socialism is a fucked up ideology. Just look at some countries that are socialist, and compare to yours. You guys live like kings. I know there are some fucked up shit going on in USA, but that can't be compared to us, nor Cuba, neither Russia (they're Democrat-Socialist, but still). voting against Trump is the best thing you can do, and then, you can do the Impeachment.

I am Brazilian, but I agree with Ozys. I think if some of them win, will not make a difference. It's like a competition between 8 and 80. My vote was for Bernier however, the fight is no longer his.

You all have good reasons as to why you think the way you do, nobody is wrong, and nobody is right. There is not one media outfit that will tell you the 100% truth, and they have reasons for that. But I will say right now that if you rely on Fox News as your source of information, then I am going to have to disagree with you because anyone in their right mind can see right through them. About the things they say about Obama, like when he cried during that speech about the children being shot in the schools and they said he was faking for publicity, and they constantly talk about Hillary's email scandal. (Which by the way, no evidence has been found for you believers our there). CNN or MSNBC are the primary stations I use for my info because they don't stretch the truth when it comes to being a democrat or republican.

In my eyes the best way to decide on a President is to picture you guys having a beer together. Donald Trump would constantly talk about himself the whole time because he is conceived. You would be able to have a decent conversation with Hillary but I'm not saying she has secrets, but she could. Bernie, now he would be the perfect guy to just sit down and talk about life with, because he understands. He grew up the same exact way most of us did.

Venezuela is in deep turmoil right now, scavenging for food and what not, it's really terrible. Wachi, you watch yourself and get into a safe area, lots of people I know have been assaulted there.

I'd like to know exactly where each and every one of you get your information though, and be honest, if you heard it from your parents or a friend then say it.

You stay safe Wachi, I know a lot of turmoil there. Just to correct you a little, the democratic party is trying to push us closer and closer to an all out socialist government. The ideology of the republicans is to move farther from socialism. There has to be a balance, but anymore very little middle ground. Each party feels if they give a little, will never gain that ground back.

I don't believe Trump is racist as he surrounds himself in his businesses with people of all faiths, ethnic backgrounds as well as people who have different sexual preferences. My main concern with him is that if a person doesn't produce or if a person doesn't agree with him, they are gone.

There has to be that balance in a government, to be able to encourage people to do the best they can, while helping them get to that point.

Socialism discourages people to be the best they can. For example in CounterStrike, a socialist way of doing things would be equalize skills. Say a person who is very good would have a hp of 15 to start with and a person who does not work at being good, but just plays would start with hp of 200. Instead of that, (using the CounterStrike skill example) encourage and help the people who do not work at getting better or lack the skills to get to the next level of skill.

Socialism encourages people to be dependent on the government and does not encourage people to improve. There are a lot of things wrong with the U.S. but freedom and encouragement to succeed creates a lot of new things. If someone fails, they can pick themselves back up and try again.

Bernie Sanders is a socialist. http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2016/03/bernie-sanders-democratic-socialism/471630/

I do find the fact that he is very honest about how he feels a good trait about him. (As others have said.)

Well, I didn't specify which Socialism we are talking, there's 2 faces in the Socialism ideology. The good one, that you are talking about, and the bad one, that it took all the good things from the people and they screw the whole country, so you just have to depend on the government to help you out, no one else. That's what we are living since 2005, I think.

Right now, they're trying to take away one of the biggest company in Venezuela: Empresas Polar. If it wasn't for this company, literally we were eating shit long time ago.

Here's an example of the Venezuelan's Socialism: In 2001 You could buy anything you want without hesitating. In 2011, You can barely buy a car (a cheap one without spending a single penny), or you could go to a restaurant, watch a movie in a fancy theater and take a lot of drinks with a minimum wage, all this at the same day. NOW you can barely buy a fucking ice cream.

About the Democratic party trying to be socialist, maybe they're trying to use one of the 2 faces of the socialism, we can't know which one, but seeing Hillary a radical Socialist, meh. It's just a frustrated bitch who wants the power to fuck up Bill's ass, lol. Obviously, we can't know if she's going to mess up the whole country, but I can bet that Trump, being a "success" in big companies, he'll fuck up the entire country. And maybe he could screw up some allies that you guys have. I can bet that if he takes the power, he's going to flip over to Fidel Castro after Obama trying to "calm down" the situation with Cuba.

The socialism ideology sounds great, but no one can't handle all the power you can have by doing this. If you guys can find a socialist country that succeed using this ideology, and no one is a corrupt pig, please... Let me know, lol.

I hate hillary as much as I hate trump. I like Sanders not becaz I like all aspects of socialism but becaz he is a decent candidate who cares about people and his country not about the big corporations or politicians. I also liked Rand Paul on republican side
