Pineapplepassionmngo Posted March 8, 2013 Well this country is all about moneymaking, so... If you can make a good money - who cares? And why a "no,no" for prostitution? Its a good way to make money too, and its legal. Oh I'm sorry not prostitution but "escort service". Sorry for calling it wrong way. In US prostitutes like customers to call them "escorts", cause "prostitute" sounds too offensive and its officially illegal, but actually everybody knows that you can get a girl on backpage in couple minutes. Both of those can be considered as "selling you body to others". To me, modelling and prostitution are in a completely different universe.
SanguinaryScientist Posted March 8, 2013 Both of those can be considered as "selling you body to others". but then that raises the question Whats the difference between porn stars, and prostitutes?
Claymore Posted March 8, 2013 modeling comes through prostitution. I mean professional modeling. Model and pornstar is almost same thing. Like 99 percent. Some pornstars are models, most models dive through starring in porno to become famous, some models who haven't have luck to become famous start pornstar career and on and on. Its like rapper and singer. Almost same thing. Both of them make music but the different way. All of them called "artists". Lets call those "bodysellers". Same thing. I don't have anything against pornstars. Its normal business. Normal career. A lot women in Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Belgium, Italy etc european countries are doing it. Whats wrong with it? What makes you think its bad? They have normal lifes, families, kids. The go to work, do the session for 3-4 hours, get their money right ahead and go home to their families. Like all other people. -- March 8th, 2013, 12:57 pm -- Both of those can be considered as "selling you body to others". but then that raises the question Whats the difference between porn stars, and prostitutes? pornstars make more than prostitutes. Porn star - is probably what most of prostitutes wish to be.
LightningDeagle Posted March 8, 2013 Whats wrong with it..? There are difference of opinions, but you think its perfectly alright with women selling their body? What would u do if someone in your family, or your sister/daughter decides to become a pornstar/prostitute. Would u seriously be alright with that? It just promotes no self worth

It just promotes no self worth I don't see how its any of my business what my sister/daughter or whatever would decide to do with her life - as long as they're happy with it then I don't see how its a problem at all. I don't agree with the 'no self worth' either at all.

Claymore Posted March 8, 2013 You are treating your body as a tool in any kind of work. Not random believe me They all are actors, friends behind the scenes, desease free people. They just think of it as of work, usual work which brings some money. Both women and men.

Modeling is not the same as being in the porn industry. Keep in mind there's different kinds of modeling as well, such as fashion modeling or in this case, fitness modeling. Just because someone is a model does not mean that they will dive into porn to become famous and advance their career. There are a ton of models out there that never go into porn and probably never will. Some advance their careers in different ways, and some lose some of the spotlight. Yes, both professions are for monetary reasons, but a porn star is an actor, a model isn't.
